The pre-Hispanic city of Chichén Itzá was the most outstanding capital of the Mayan area, at the end of the Classic period and the beginnings of the Postclassic period. Upon the arrival of the Spaniards, it was constituted as the most revered center of worship and pilgrimage in the Yucatan peninsula. At present, it is a Sacred Center for the Mayans. The archaeological zone is a Cultural Heritage of Mexico, and due to its importance, it was internationally recognized, when it was declared and it was inscribed in the list of World Heritage by UNESCO, in 1988.
09:00 hrs. Departure at your hotel.
11:15 hrs: Arrival at the Archaeological site, the guide will buy entry tickets for all groups (not included). Will visit for 2 hours with free time, will visit with a specialized bilingual guide.
13:30If we have time, we will visit the Cenote Ik’kil (only if all group is agree could visit the cenote)
14:30 hrs: Buffet lunch with typical food, (drinks at an extra cost).
15:30 hrs: After that, you´ll board the bus to return to Mérida City.
17:30 hrs: Will be arrive to Cancun Drop off (bus station).
